KG Group

The KG Group of companies, which includes AB "Kauno grūdai", Vilnius and Kaišiadorys poultry farms and their subsidiaries, is one of the largest, most modern and economically strongest manufacturing associations in Lithuania. The group of companies employs over 3500 people, therefore managing the companies' operations, coordinating daily work, disseminating and preserving information are particularly complex. In 2005, the Sekasoft document approval system was introduced in the group of companies, followed by a task management system and an employee performance evaluation system.

"KG Group" received benefits:

Many internal processes were transferred to the electronic environment: decision-making, document coordination and approval, task management, procurement management, new product development, project management, etc. Working in the electronic environment accelerated processes and decision-making, saved the time of employees involved, significantly reduced the number of printed documents, and eliminated the need to transport documents for approval between different companies or departments.

Electronic document approval marks are legalized and equated to an employee's signature. All documents requiring coordination and signature are now approved several to ten times faster. In addition, electronic approval has fostered a culture among employees to prepare initial documents more efficiently and with higher quality.

"By managing tasks in the system, we help not only managers, who formulate and control tasks, but also employees themselves, who, from the moment a task is formulated, can provide their comments or observations about the task, record completed work, and receive feedback. Thus, this tool strengthens the mutual relationship between manager and employee." Tautvydas Barštys Chairman of the Board, KG Group
