Sekasoft acquires Profectus Novus, becoming a leading SharePoint provider

UAB "Sekasoft", a software manufacturer celebrating its 30th anniversary, has acquired UAB "Profectus Novus", which specializes in the implementation of document and process management solutions based on SharePoint. This deal will consolidate the SharePoint teams of both companies, which together will seek to grow and strengthen the product line and open new opportunities for export.

Both companies have so far been strong in the SharePoint solutions market in Lithuania, and from now on they will jointly invest in solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform. Both "Sekasoft" and "Profectus Novus" implement document and process management systems, intranets and other solutions for managing various digital content. The solutions are used by organizations such as "Žemaitijos pienas", "Citadele" bank, "Eurovaistinė", "Vakarų medienos grupė", "BTA Baltic Insurance Company", "Grigeo", "Eoltas", "Light Conversion", Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and others.

By combining the teams, clients' digitalization needs in the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environment will be met not only with greater capacity, but also by better utilizing consolidated competencies. Now UAB "Sekasoft" can offer a wider range of services and solutions that meet the needs of different clients.

"Sekasoft's" many years of experience in organizational management and digitalization is now being implemented with double force in the "Prodo" document and process management system , which operates on the basis of Microsoft 365 . "Prodo" meets the high security and unified IT ecosystem requirements of many organizations and operates in an environment familiar to users, together with Outlook , Teams, OneDrive , Power BI and other tools. Due to the intuitive environment, the solution is smoothly adopted by employees. The "Prodo" self-service mobile application enables even wider use of the system – allowing all employees to remotely fill out requests, get acquainted with work procedures and their changes, and approve documents with an electronic signature, all on their mobile phones.

The "Prodo" document management system (DMS) fully implements electronic document management from creation and approval to endorsement and signing directly in the system window. In cooperation with "Dokobit by Signicat", the largest provider of e-signature based solutions in the Baltic States and Iceland, "Sekasoft" provides clients with convenient e-signing tools that comply with the "eIDAS" regulation to implement the full lifecycle of electronic documents directly in the DMS system.
